This is another spectacular example of an instrument you can only get from Fodera. The Maple Burl top is over 100 years old! The figuring, tight grain, and quality of the maple means it is from a slow growth tree, which produces figuring and tone you will rarely find in todays wood. Fodera makes some of the finest instruments in the world and we have been a proud dealer for nearly a decade. These basses offer tons of versatile, lots of clarity and are definitely easy on the eyes. You can get everything from vintage to very modern tones and a playability that is extremely hard to find. Once a customer plays a Fodera they find it hard to go back to anything else. They just feel right. One very unique feature of this bass is the CITES Certified Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard which looks amazing (see detail). We've rarely seen any bass with such a combination of such intense burl figuring to the top, and gorgeous grain to the brazilian fretboard.
